Inside Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s Relationship Dynamic as Parents of Two: They ‘Balance Each Other Out’

Rihanna celebrated Valentine’s Day in Paris with her boyfriend and father of her two children, A$AP Rocky. The couple also rang in her 36th birthday yesterday. While they kept a relatively low profile, a source spoke to Entertainment Tonight about their relationship and why it is working so well, three years and two babies in.

“Rihanna and A$AP are doing so well,” the source said. “They both love being parents and balance each other out. A$AP is very outgoing and playful and Rihanna is chill and fun.”

The couple share common interests too, which really helps. “They make each other laugh and are also interested in the same things, like music, fashion, business ideas, art, and more, so they have fun together no matter what they’re doing,” the source said.

Rihanna spoke to Entertainment Tonight in December about how she and Rocky are faring with two kids under two, sons RZA, 1, and Riot, who was born in August.

“Having a house full of boys, I thought I was a girl mom, but I’m a boy mom. I love this. I love it,” she said.

She spoke about RZA’s transition from being an only child to the eldest child, saying that “[RZA] struggled in the beginning, but he loves his little brother. Every time he thinks we’re not looking at him, he’ll come over and touch him. If the baby’s crying, he’ll just hold his hands. It hurts him if the baby’s crying. He’ll wake up in the morning just saying, ‘Baby, baby, baby.’ He loves him. It took a while, but he got there, and I’m proud of him.”
