Here’s Exactly Who Taylor Swift Is Sitting Next to at the 2024 Grammys

Travis Kelce won’t be joining his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, at the Grammys this Sunday due to his Super Bowl practice, but Swift will spend her night seated next to a music icon. CBS teased the first look at its Grammys seating chart on TikTok, where the network revealed that Midnights contributor Lana Del Rey is seated alongside Swift. Swift and Del Rey did the track “Snow on the Beach” together.

Swift is up for six Grammys on Sunday: Record of the Year (“Anti-Hero”), Album of the Year (Midnights), Song of the Year (“Anti-Hero”), Best Pop Vocal Album (Midnights), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Anti-Hero”), and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Karma” with Ice Spice).

Del Rey spoke last February about collaborating with Swift on “Snow on the Beach” in an interview with Billboard. “Well, first of all, I had no idea I was the only feature [on that song],” she said. “Had I known, I would have sung the entire second verse like she wanted. My job as a feature on a big artist’s album is to make sure I help add to the production of the song, so I was more focused on the production. She was very adamant that she wanted me to be on the album, and I really liked that song. I thought it was nice to be able to bridge that world, since Jack [Antonoff] and I work together and so do Jack and Taylor.”

Swift later released a new version of the track featuring more of Del Rey’s vocals in May. “You asked for it, we listened: Lana and I went back into the studio specifically to record more Lana on Snow on the Beach. Love u Lana ????????????,” Swift wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, when she shared the news.
