Dove Cameron has had a few relationships during her time in the spotlight. In 2013, she started dating her Liv and Maddie co-star Ryan McCartan. The two ultimately got engaged in April 2016 when she was 20 and he was 22. They ended up calling it off about six months later.

“Dove has decided this relationship isn’t what she wants. We still love each other very much. Please be sensitive, as this is painful,” McCartan wrote in a since-deleted tweet at the time of their split.

I know this is cheesy, but honestly, right from the moment we met, it felt like the earth moved, for both of us….I’ve never experienced an equality like we have, a real admission of who and what we are together and the guttural knowing that this is right.”

However, Cameron announced their split on her Instagram Story in December 2020.

“Hi all, we know there have been some rumors and confusion lately about the status of our relationship and we wanted to set the record straight. In October, Thomas and I decided to part ways. The decision was incredibly difficult, but we still have love for each other, and will remain friends,” she wrote.

Before entering his relationship with Cameron, Damiano David dated Italian model and influencer Giorgia Soleri from 2017 to June 2023. A few days after their breakup, a video of David kissing a mystery woman went viral on TikTok, and fans began accusing him of cheating on Soleri as news of their split had not yet broken.

“I am very sorry this video came out, it was not how I wanted to handle the situation and it was my mistake,” he wrote in Italian on his Instagram Story, sharing that he and Soleri broke up, but there were “no betrayals of any kind.”
