Dakota Johnson’s Little Black Dress for The Tonight Show Is a Vampy Dream
Madame Web star Dakota Johnson appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night and wore her take on the famous little black dress. The number was a classy, strapless velvet corset mini dress by WARDROBE.NYC, which she paired with sheer black tights, stiletto pumps, and a gold statement choker necklace by Belperron jewelry.
Her long brown locks were lightly curled, and her makeup was kept soft with a pink-nude lip and peachy flushed cheeks.
While on The Tonight Show, Johnson clarified a comment she made last month that sparked some chatter.
“Dakota Johnson Likes to Sleep for 14 Hours a Night,” The Wall Street Journal wrote in their headline of an interview published on December 11, and the internet had their opinions, calling her “lazy” and saying it’s unhealthy to oversleep.
“I said that I could easily sleep 14 hours, but I don’t demand it,” she explained. “I’m not a monster. Why is sleep bad? Like why? Leave me alone. I’m just asleep.”
Earlier that day before her talk show appearance, Johnson was photographed stepping out in NYC in a more casual outfit. She wore black platform booties, medium-wash straight-leg jeans, and a burgundy sweater, bundling up with a long black leather trench coat and a bright green scarf. She carried a big woven bag by Bottega Veneta.
Johnson is booked and busy. She is set to host Saturday Night Live for the second time on January 27, with musical guest Justin Timberlake.
