Margot Robbie’s Barbie Press Tour Fashion Will Be Immortalized in a Coffee Table Book

The Barbie-mania isn’t over yet. Today, Mattel and Rizzoli announced a new table book, Barbie: The World Tour, featuring “all the glamour and high style of the most popular doll in the world,” following Margot Robbie’s style on her press tour, where she channeled some of the doll’s famous fashions.

As the press tour was cut short due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, not all the planned press tour looks were seen. “This book is the culmination of tens of thousands of hours of work by some of the most talented and creative visionaries and designers on Earth,” her stylist, Andrew Mukamal, said in a statement abut the book. “Margot and I felt compelled to share this with the world. We hope you love it as much as we do.”

Mattel is excited about the book. “Barbie: The World Tour is the ultimate realization of Barbiecore, with iconic looks inspired by Barbie’s 65-years of fashion history, now brought to life by Margot and Andrew with best-in-class designers,” Lisa McKnight, Mattel’s executive vice president and chief brand officer, said. “It’s been inspiring to see the world follow the designs curated by Margot and Andrew in celebration of the movie, Barbie. Rich with unexpected playfulness, historic nods, and self-expression, these looks represent an exciting new take on Barbie style.”

Barbie: The World Tour will be published on March 8, 2024, featuring a foreword by Edward Enninful, introduction by Margaret Zhang, and afterword by Barbie writer-director Greta Gerwig. The book features photography by Craig McDean, and text from Robbie and Mukamal, along with designers who created the Barbiecore looks.
