Taylor Swift Fans Think They Saw a Hickey on Travis Kelce’s Neck
Taylor Swift’s fans have been applying their detective skills to every square inch of her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s neck. A picture from his game with the Kansas City Chiefs against the New England Patriots on December 17 appears to show a small red mark there, vaguely resembling what could possibly be a hickey. Swifties freaked out at the idea that the couple might have enjoyed some kissing, commenting on the alleged love bite.
It became such a moment on social media, that sports commentator Pat McAfee mentioned it on his morning show. In a TikTok clip, he says, “It did look like he had a hickey right there on his neck…That made me think, ‘Him and Taylor are just having fun.’”
His co-hosts added that “they’re adults” and he got his “pulse sucked on.”
But some fans denied that the mark was there when the game started and could have been created by any of the tussling and grabbing that happens in the course of a football game, or even left by his shoulder pads. It seems unlikely we’ll ever know, unless Kelce addresses the gossip on his own podcast. On Wednesday, December 27, Kelce and his co-host and brother Jason Kelce, said they were planning a special “family edition” of the pod and some are hoping that means Swift will be on board.
Whatever else they’ve been up to, Swift and Kelce have spent the holidays together. The Eras Tour star was at the Chiefs’ Christmas Day game at Arrowhead Stadium with her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift. They were seen chatting with Kelce’s dad, Ed, in the VIP box and the couple left the stadium holding hands after the Chiefs lost against the Raiders. It seems likely they’ll be together for New Year’s Eve, too.
