Taylor Swift Flew Back to NYC Without Travis Kelce Ahead of Her Birthday
Taylor Swift will be ringing in her 34th year in New York City. The singer left Kansas City, Missouri, on her private jet this morning, The Daily Mail reported, but Kelce did not fly with her. The outlet ran photos of her plane leaving and Kelce arriving back at home in his car after.
Swift has good reason to return to New York City today: She is being honored at Time’s Person of the Year awards this evening. It’s possible Kelce could meet her in New York later, too: Us Weekly reported yesterday that Kelce was planning Swift a birthday party in the city, although time will tell whether that intel is correct.
The news comes as comments from a friend of Kelce’s, Cheterah Jackson, are getting media pickup.
The Columbus, Ohio-based real estate agent spoke to Entertainment Tonight about what the couple is like. Jackson was at the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday with Swift.
“Taylor is an absolute sweetheart. She is very down-to-earth and kind,” he said. Of how she is with Kelce, Jackson added, “Taylor and Travis are so in love. It was so cute seeing them together, and I can see them getting married.”
Swift and Kelce have been dating for just a few months. The singer revealed their real relationship timeline to Time. It turns out, they started dating privately in the summer.
“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast [in July], which I thought was metal as hell,” she said. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
