Kate Middleton Debuts an All-White Look For Her Together At Christmas Carol Service

Kate Middleton forewent the coat dress and opted for a very modern all-white ensemble for tonight’s taping of her Together At Christmas carol service that will air on Christmas Eve in the U.K. Her husband Prince William and the couple’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, joined her for the special evening.

Kate carried a Strathberry bag with her look, which was comprised of a white jacket, high-waisted pants, and a matching top. In a promo for the special, Kate also wore white, opting for a Self-Portrait blazer coat.

Sartorially, the white look is in stark contrast to Kate’s burgundy coat dress last year:

Ahead of the taping, Kate and William posted on Instagram, sharing that the service is in partnership with The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. “Tonight’s carol service with @earlychildhood is a moment to thank all those who work to support babies, young children and families in our communities across the UK, celebrating the golden opportunity that the birth of a new baby brings. Look out for our special postbox which will whisk letters and Christmas messages from our congregation to children who might be struggling this year ????”

They also shared after the taping that it was a success: “Such a special evening with @earlychildhood here at Westminster Abbey, joining so many wonderful people who do so much to support babies and children in our communities,” they wrote. “The role of the early years workforce in #ShapingUs is so important, building supportive, nurturing worlds around children and the adults in their lives. We’re so excited for you all to see it! Join us on @ITV [the U.K. station broadcasting the program] this Christmas Eve.”
