Ariana Grande Paired a Red Lip and Dramatic Black Dress for Ethan Slater’s Spamalot Premiere

Ariana Grande made it clear to the world how committed she is to boyfriend Ethan Slater last night, making another appearance at his Broadway show Spamalot to support its official opening night. Grande has been seen at two earlier performances, first on Halloween and then this past weekend. Grande and Slater were filmed leaving the theater together on Saturday.

For premiere night yesterday, Grande put together one of her dressiest ensembles of the year. Grande wore a strapless black midi dress with a dramatic v-neckline and matching long black coat. She wore her blonde hair in a slick ponytail. For makeup, she had a statement red lip and a cat eye.

The singer was photographed outside the theater in the full outfit, signing autographs.

Earlier this week, a source spoke to Us Weekly about how serious Slater and Grande had become. The pair started as friends and co-stars on Wicked before their separations from their then-spouses. Grande is now divorced from her ex-husband Dalton Gomez as of last month. Slater is in the process of divorcing his estranged wife Lilly Jay, with whom he shares a son.

The source told Us that Grande is in it for the long haul with Slater. “She sees herself with him for the long term,” the source said. They are making plans for the future, the source added, saying, “He always puts his family first but adores her and is very cognizant of her feelings. [He’s] a great listener, very proactive. [He] wants to be the best partner he can be.”

Generally, “[they have] a lot in common, especially their theatrical side,” the source said, saying that commonality adds to their chemistry. “They’re a little dorky and [both] theatre geeks at heart. She loves that about him. It’s mutual. Their relationship is blossoming. It’s effortless with zero drama.”
