Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Were Photographed Laughing Together in Rare Sighting

Over the weekend, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner gave the public a glimpse into their relationship as co-parents and friends. Both were photographed on Sunday at their son Samuel’s basketball game. They appeared laughing and in good spirits. You can see more photos here.

Garner and Affleck have both moved on since their divorce was finalized in 2018. Affleck is now re-married to Jennifer Lopez, while Garner has been dating John Miller on-off since 2018.

A source spoke to Daily Mailin September about how Lopez helped Garner and Affleck’s relationship improve. “One of the things that made [Garner] and [Affleck] get to a better place was—and is—J.Lo,” the source said. “Ben is healthy. The drama of the past and the emotions of divorce are long gone and they are all making it work.”

Lopez and Garner are also “friendly,” the source added. “It is really a very happy co-parenting situation. Everything is really good right now and should be the same in the near and distant future.”

But Garner still steers clear of coverage about her and Affleck. She spoke to Stellar magazine in June about why she avoids the news stories, even if they are positive. “I really work hard not to see either of us in the press,” she said. “It doesn’t make me feel good, even if it’s something nice about one of us. I just try to forget that I’m out there in any way and the same with anyone I love. I don’t need to see anyone in my family made into a meme.”
