Travis Kelce Plans to Travel Over 5,500 Miles to See Taylor Swift’s Argentina Eras Tour Shows

For weeks, it’s been rumored that Travis Kelce would travel to see Taylor Swift resume her Eras tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina today, as the tour dates fall during the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week, where Kelce has no games. She arrived without him yesterday, and Kelce himself played coy on his New Heights podcast about whether he was traveling, saying, “I might just say ‘fuck it’ and just go somewhere nice, I don’t know.”

A source close to Swift and Kelce told NBC News that Kelce is, in fact, planning to go the distance though and fly the 5,500-plus miles to support Swift. Page Six also confirmed that Kelce was definitely going to Buenos Aires, with a source saying he will be sure to return home before he is due back on the field. “He has to be back on Sunday for practice on Monday,” the source said. Multiple sources also confirmed Kelce’s plans to People.

While this will not be Kelce’s first Eras tour show, it is his first as Swift’s boyfriend. He attended her Kansas City, Missouri show during the summer and went viral for discussing how he had made a friendship bracelet for her with his phone number but was unable to give it to her. “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. So I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce said on New Heights.

Swift and Kelce ended up meeting privately later, leading to their very public romance that kicked off in earnest this September.

A source told People on October 27 that things have really escalated between Swift and Kelce. “It’s quickly turning more serious,” the source said. “They share a strong work ethic and have a huge appreciation for life and their careers, strong family bond and values. [He is also] sweet, goofy and just a blast to be around.”
