Inside Why Tom Brady and Irina Shayk’s Relationship ‘Fizzled Out’

After their first rumored connection in May, Tom Brady and Irina Shayk had a hot and heavy summer together. Now, as the weather cools, so has their relationship. TMZ reports that their brief romance is over. A source said that things between the two “fizzled out,” without any drama or scandalous activity.

The pair have supposedly known one another for some time, because they run in similar social circles. But it apparently became something more when they met again at the wedding of Joe Nahmad and Madison Headrick in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, in the spring.

“Tom and Irina have run in the same circle for a while and have always gotten along great,” a source told Entertainment Tonight then. “The two have been talking for about a month and have enjoyed their time together, but it’s not too serious.”

A second source told the Daily Mail that Brady was very excited about the potential connection and was taking it fairly seriously.

“She is not just a fling; he really wants to make this work. He always told himself after his divorce that he would only get involved with someone that a future could be made, someone he could eventually introduce to his kids,” they said. “He really thinks very highly of her and where this relationship could go. He has zero worry with her, they seem to get each other and get along quite well.”

But, things did not progress to the next level. Brady and Shayk have notably been in different cities recently, with the NFL star spotted in Miami as the model was hanging out in New York City. They were mostly seen together in July and August, traveling to Los Angeles and London.

In late August, some fans believed Shayk might be reuniting with her ex, Bradley Cooper, after the former couple shared photos from a vacation together. However, they do co-parent their 6-year-old daughter Lea De Seine.

“The Italy trip with her daughter is fun for everyone,” a source told People at the time. “Lea wants them all to travel together. And Irina and Bradley are friendly and get along. They both want to make Lea happy.”
