Taylor Swift Was Spotted Flying Out of NYC the Day Before Travis Kelce’s Birthday
Travis Kelce turns 34 today, and Taylor Swift, his new love interest, may be spending the day with him. Multiple sources told Page Six that Swift was seen leaving New York City yesterday. They saw her luggage being loaded into a vehicle outside of her apartment that ultimately went to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey.
A separate source told the outlet that Kelce is in Kansas City, Missouri this week and has no set plans for his birthday due to a “previous work commitment.” Swift has traveled to Kansas City before for Kelce, attending his game there two weeks ago. She stayed until Tuesday morning.
While it isn’t yet confirmed that Swift traveled to see Kelce, she did wear his birth stone, opal, on September 8—potential proof that his birthday was on her mind then. Specifically, the necklace was Foundrae’s Forever & Always a Pair Pendant. Fans later connected the piece of jewelry to Kelce, as dating rumors between the pair started on September 12.
Us Weekly reported earlier this week that Swift plans to be at Kelce’s games whenever she can and that she isn’t interested in hiding their relationship. The approach is a stark contrast to Swift’s last relationship, which ended in March. During her six years dating Joe Alwyn, the two were almost never seen out together as they embraced privacy.
“Taylor is at a point in her life where she’s no longer willing to hold back,” one source said. “If something feels right—like it does with Travis—she’s jumping in with both feet. She’s very happy and loving life right now.”
“Taylor has decided she’s not going to hide anymore,” a second source said. “She’s going to be her authentic self and enjoy life.” Kelce and Swift “talk every day. Taylor’s really enjoying getting to know Travis. They’re taking it day by day, but she has high hopes. She likes that he’s a normal, nice guy. He’s down-to-earth and isn’t affected by fame. She also thinks he’s hot.”
As for Kelce, a third source said, “Travis is completely smitten.”
