Jason Kelce Backtracks on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Dating Confirmation
Travis Kelce’s older brother Jason Kelce just gave an interview where he appeared to confirm that, yes, Taylor Swift and Travis are seeing each other. Then he immediately claimed he was just kidding.
Jason told Audacy’s SportsRadio 94 WIP today, when asked about the dating rumors surrounding Travis and Swift, that “it’s hard to answer because I don’t really know a lot about Travis’ love life. I try to keep his business kind of his business, stay out of that world. But having said that, I think he’s doing great, and I think it’s all 100 percent true…”
But he added right after that he was joking: “…and I hope this thing goes a mile—no, I’m joking, I don’t know what’s happening.”
This is a slight change in messaging for Jason. Just days ago, the Philadelphia Eagles player gave a non-answer when asked about Swift and Travis on TNF Nightcap’s post-game interview. “I’ve seen these rumors…I cannot comment,” Jason said at the time.
Jason added that “Ever since Catching Kelce [Travis’ 2016 E! dating series], everyone’s been infatuated with Travis’ love life, so, I don’t really know what’s going on there. I know Trav is having fun, we’ll see what happens with whoever he ends up with.”
Travis, who plays for the Oklahoma City Chiefs and is also regularly doing interviews during football season, dodged questions himself when asked about Swift on Friday during a chat with Andrew Siciliano.
“I’m not gonna talk about my personal life,” Travis said. “I know what you writers wanna hear, and you wanna hear more about that, and I’m not gonna give you anything.”
Swift hasn’t said a word about Travis. The only hint she gave was her jewelry choice on September 8. Fans noticed she was wearing an opal necklace, which is Travis’ birthstone as a Libra.
Dating rumors began about a week ago when a source told The Messenger on September 12 that “Taylor and Travis have been quietly hanging out. She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago.”
That same day, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Kelce and Swift were not “officially dating.” The source did not deny that they are spending time together.
