Taylor Swift and Blake Lively Showed Off Their Early Fall Style in NYC for Friend Date

On Saturday night, Taylor Swift had a girl’s night out with close friend and creative collaborator Blake Lively in New York City. The pair were headed to restaurant hotspot Zero Bond for a little dinner together. It was a cool, early fall night, and they showed off their layered fashion for the evening.

Swift wore a black pleated miniskirt with a black buttoned cardigan, and carried a tan leather purse over one shoulder on a long strap. She paired the look with knee-high boots in brown, a series of gold chains, a small bracelet, and she left her hair down with what looked like a fresh fringe. Swift was wearing her signature red lip and a smokey eye.

Lively wore a colorful tweed miniskirt with a cartoon-printed shirt under a denim jacket lined with yet more bright fabric. She carried a blue Chanel purse with gold hardware and wore a pair of pointed-toe heels in a rainbow wash. She also left her long blonde hair down in waves and had small diamond earrings in her ears.

Lively and Swift have been friends since 2015, and have gone on to work together on Swift’s 2021 music video for “I Bet You Think About Me,” which Lively directed. Swift is also friends with Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds and she is close with the couple’s daughters.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Reynolds joked that everyone was “obsessed” with her most recent album, Midnights.

“Oh my God, yes. All of us, whole house, I’m not kidding. I love it so much. I do, Blake does, my daughters. We love it. Obsessed,” he said.

It seems like Swift is catching up with a bunch of friends this week, because her “bestie” Selena Gomez shared two selfies with the Eras Tour star on Instagram.

In the images, they look like they’re at a seaside restaurant and having a wonderful time.
