Kourtney Kardashian Channels Barbie With a Bodycon Maternity Dress and Pink Bronco

Kourtney Kardashian leaned hard into Barbiecore over the weekend, cruising around Calabasas in a pink Bronco on Sunday. The Daily Mail noted that the custom vehicle costs between $250,000 and $300,000. It’s unclear whether Kardashian was simply renting the car or actually now owns a real-life Barbie dream car with her husband Travis Barker, who was photographed with her. She hasn’t posted about the excursion yet on her social media.

Still, paparazzi captured Kardashian dressed like a Barbie, wearing a pink printed maxi dress that showed off her pregnant figure. The dress itself had some Weird Barbie vibes, featuring an eclectic, abstract design. You can see a photo of the car here; it even has pink seats.

It’s unclear how far along Kardashian is in her fourth pregnancy; she hasn’t revealed the due date of her baby boy with Barker. The couple announced that they were expecting their first child together in June.

As for Kardashian’s apparent fashion inspiration, the star went to see the Barbie movie shortly after it came out last month. She posted an Instagram Story of her outfit for the outing: a black bodycon top with pink jorts and a matching pink jacket. She wrote of the ensemble, “Took the girls to see Barbie, had very strict instructions to wear my pink jorts.”

In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kardashian spoke about her parenting approach. She said she speaks to her kids about appearances differently than her mother did to her.

“We do live in a world that’s obsessed with perfection. I think my mom always had us dressing alike and being really polished and [having our] hair done,” Kardashian admitted when reflecting on her childhood. “I think I’m really conscious with my own kids about giving them the freedom to express themselves and not put so much pressure on perfectionism.”

She explained her philosophy to her sister Khloé in the same episode, saying, “I think the messaging [that’s best for our kids] is, ‘You’re good enough just the way you are,’ and just owning who you are.”
