Gigi Hadid Quietly Liked a Shirtless Photo of Ex Zayn Malik
Zayn Malik doesn’t currently follow his ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid on Instagram, but Hadid follows him, and she gave him a viral display of support by liking his latest Instagram photo. In the pic, Malik sits shirtless at a red piano, sans caption. The shot comes just days after Malik released his first new single in years, “Love Like This.”

Malik spoke on the Call Her Daddy podcast earlier this month about his relationship with Hadid, with whom he shares 2-year-old daughter Khai. Hadid and Malik broke up for good in October 2021 after being on-off for years.
He said their relationship as co-parents was going well. “Co-parenting is is good,” he began. “Yeah. We have a really good relationship for Khai. She’s the, you know, the main importance. Yeah. So yeah it’s going well. I think, from me [and my perspective], yeah.”
He added later that he is “hands-on with my child every chance I can be. If I could get 60 percent [of time with her], I would have it, yeah.” The former couple splits custody evenly.
Hadid spoke about Malik very briefly during her interview with The Times in March this year. When asked for co-parenting advice, she said, “Just keeping the importance of the child’s happiness at the forefront. You have a long life alongside this person.”
She then shared that she schedules her work commitments “when Khai is with her dad. That she can be with both parents makes me very happy.”
Malik is single, having last been linked to Selena Gomez in March. Gomez unfollowed him and Hadid on Instagram in June, sparking speculation that her romance with him had ended.
Hadid was last linked to Leonardo DiCaprio. Some sources claim they are just friends, while others claim that there’s something more romantic going on between them now. Neither has ever spoken about the other or their relationship since they were first rumored to be dating last fall.
