Kendall Jenner Teases ‘Pregnancy’ News on New Kardashians Episode
During a sneak preview of The Kardashians season 3 episode 4, Kendall Jenner seemingly dropped a bombshell. When asked by one of the show’s producers, “how’s the pregnancy going?” in a confessional scene, the model kept mum and simply offered a cheeky smile before the camera cut off.
The new episode doesn’t actually air until June 15, but before you go ahead and text every single one of your group chats about the situation, there is a possible explanation that has nothing to do with babies: Yes, there is probably a pregnancy involved. But, no, it’s almost certainly not Kendall’s…it’s likely her horse’s.
Fans everywhere have speculated that Kendall’s “pregnancy news” actually broke last November, when the 818 founder confirmed she was expecting a baby—horse, that is. During the episode of The Kardashians that recapped the life update, Kendall had just discovered one of her horses was pregnant via surrogate as she was getting ready for the Met Gala.
“Oh my God, I’m having a baby!” the supermodel shrieked while getting glammed up. Almost immediately after, she clarified what she’d actually meant was that she was having a baby horse: “I just got the news it took…They just texted me that we have an embryo!” Kendall went on to dish that she had asked her hairstylist Jen Atkin for horse sperm for her birthday the year prior after deciding she wanted a baby horse.
“Remember when I asked you for sperm? Jen was like, ‘I really wanna get something great for Kendall for her birthday.’ And I was like, ‘Sperm. Horse sperm,’” she added.
Given all of this, it sure does seem likely now that Kenny’s horse is moving along in the pregnancy on the TV show, and the model is simply giving fans an update on how it’s shaping up. But, alas! You truly never really know with this famous family. What we do know for sure though is that Kris Jenner has some thoughts about Kendall and baby news in general.
Back in season 2 of The Kardashians, Kris spoke with Kendall about the possibility of her having a child and confessed (per People), “I was just thinking, maybe it’s time to, you know, have a baby.” During the scene, the supermodel hilariously choked on her water after hearing her mother’s suggestion and said the convo made her “uncomfortable.”
“You keep telling me, ‘You’re not getting any younger,’ but guess what? It’s my life. I don’t know if I’m ready yet,” Kendall retorted, with Kris immediately quipping, “Are you sure it’s your life?”
“I still have a lot to figure out before I can welcome a child into my life,” Kendall explained in a subsequent confessional after reflecting on the interaction. “I’m still enjoying life on my own. And I’m okay with that right now.” Never have I ever related more to her.
