Looks like Travis Scott may have heard about the news of his ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s romance—and left a subtle yet public receipt revealing how he’s taking it.
Fans noticed that Scott’s flirty, viral comment on Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics Instagram of her has been deleted shortly after reports of her romance with Chalamet broke in People and Us Weekly. Scott made headlines when he wrote “a beauty,” on the photo of Jenner that the Kylie Cosmetics account shared on April 1. It no longer appears on the post now.
Travis Scott’s comment no longer appears on the post, despite initially appearing under top comments.
Us Weekly reported on how Jenner felt about his comment on April 4. A source told the outlet: “Kylie thought it was really sweet of Travis to show his support for her in such a public way.”
“Even though they’re not together, they have an amazing bond and are still best friends,” the source added. “They have an open line of communication and a remarkable coparenting relationship. They’ve always made sure their kids [Stormi and Aire] know that they’re both there for them at all times and that will never change. Everybody knows that Kylie and Travis have had their ups and downs over the years, but they have deep respect and admiration for each other no matter what.”
On April 6, a source told Us that friends of the former couple could see them getting back together. “Kylie’s friends genuinely don’t believe that her and Travis are done for good,” the source said. “They’ve always had an on-and-off relationship, so this is nothing new to them. They truly feel like the love is still there and that they’ll find their way back to each other again.”
Now though, following photos of Jenner’s car being seen at Chalamet’s house, sources have new intel on Jenner’s love life. A source close to Jenner told People on April 14 that Jenner and Chalamet “are hanging out and getting to know each other.”
Us Weekly got more details, describing the two as dating on the same day. “Kylie has only hung out with Timothée a couple of times, so things aren’t that serious,” the source said. “However, she’s enjoying getting to know him better and is open to seeing where things go. Things are very new so it’s hard to tell, but so far she likes what she sees.”
The source added that “Timothée is a total gentleman and treats [Kylie] with respect. He’s very charming and he makes her laugh, and he’s easy to talk to. He’s not like any of the other guys she’s dated before and although he may not seem like her type, they have really good chemistry.”
Jenner and Scott’s most recent breakup was reported in January, although the on and off couple kept their romance almost completely private during its run. Unverified celeb gossip outlet DeuxMoi claimed that Jenner and Chalamet may have been involved as far back as New Year’s Eve, although neither Jenner nor Chalamet have confirmed that.
