Emily Ratajkowski Seemingly Comments On Viral Clip of Kissing Harry Styles

In a profile of Emily Ratajkowski for the Los Angeles Times, the model seemed to address the viral clip of her kissing pop star Harry Styles in Tokyo from March. The 31-year-old talked to the publication for two months to generate the piece, and about two weeks before being seen with Styles, she told them, “I’m really just not thinking about guys…I’m working, I’m a single mom. I’ve been so busy that it’s easy not to think about.”

Ratajkowski is friends with Olivia Wilde, and after the kiss video, rumors were rampant that Wilde, Styles, and Ratajkowski once engaged in a threesome while the director and musician were dating. The model sent a voice not to the Los Angeles Times‘ Amy Kaufman from Japan that referenced the story, saying, “There’s a million insane, inaccurate things about my relationships [that are said].”

“I’m definitely still not thinking about guys,” she continued. “Although, yeah. You know, sometimes things just happen.”

The model’s two-year-old son, Sylvester, could be heard in the background of the memo. She shares Sylvester with ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. They are currently estranged, and the model shared that the last year has been “horrifying.”

However, she stated she needed to be discreet for the sake of custody of her son.

“I’m scared,” she said. “I’m learning that outspoken women don’t often get their children.’

Throughout the profile, Ratajkowski was reluctant to name names in general, and did not specifically say she was discussing her short-lived romance with comedian Eric Andre. But she shared how she had to ask one of her recent flings if they thought she was pretty after he constantly commented on other women’s looks.

“So I said, ‘What do you think of me?’” she recalled. “And he was like, ‘Are you serious? You’re a famous model.’ I was like, ‘Wow, you don’t get it.’ I need to know that you are specifically attracted to me. Beauty is totally subjective. I don’t care how much it’s validated by a standard.”
