Selena Gomez Attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour as One of the Actual Eras

On Saturday, April 1, Selena Gomez attended her bestie Taylor Swift’s concert in Arlington, Texas, at the AT&T Stadium with her sister Gracie, and the pair were dressed on theme. Gomez had her hair pulled back in two loose buns with gentle curls around her face, and was clad in a flowing white dress under a white cardigan in the same style as the one Swift wore for her folklore album videos. Gracie was representing the Speak Now album era in a purple gown.

The pair were filmed singing along to Lover hit “Cruel Summer,” which Swift was performing live for the first time since it was released in 2019. In an especially adorable moment, Swift was filmed giving Gracie the hat from her “22” performance in exchange for a friendship bracelet.

The two pop stars have been friends since 2008, when they both happened to be dating different Jonas brothers. Since then, they’ve become besties who appear on stage together and in each other’s music videos. In 2018, Gomez performed at the Rose Bowl show for Swift’s reputation tour, singing her own hit “Hands to Myself” with Swift.

After their set, Gomez shared her love of Swift with the audience, saying, “Are you guys having a good night? I have to say thank you to my best friend of about 12 years, almost 13, and the reason why she has been one of my best friends is because this person has never ever judged a single decision I’ve made. She’s always met me where I’ve been. She’s encouraged me when I’ve had nothing to be encouraged about, and I don’t know if I would be as strong as I am if I didn’t have you and your family because you’ve changed my life. And—she’s going to kill me after—but honestly, thank you for the bottom of my heart for supporting someone who I know is the most beautiful, strong, independent woman I’ve ever met. So thank you as a best friend.”
