Florence Pugh Wore Three Great Outfits in One Day and Dined With Ex Zach Braff and Her Family in NYC

Florence Pugh and Zach Braff spent yesterday promoting A Good Person, the movie they made together with Moran Freeman. And they affirmed that sometimes, exes can remain very good friends. Pugh went all out to promote the project, wearing three outfits in one day. She and her parents and grandmother were also photographed grabbing dinner with Braff.

She first wore a black mini Alessandra Rich dress with a Tove coat. She accessorized with a Valentino bag and sunglasses:

Meanwhile, Braff gave an interview to Entertainment Tonight, where he spoke about how he wrote the film with Pugh in mind. (He directed it, while she co-starred with Freeman.)

The film explores loss, with Entertainment Tonight describing the plot as: “Allison (Pugh), a once-thriving young woman who becomes addicted to opioids after being involved in an unimaginable tragedy that took Daniel’s daughter’s life. As a grief-stricken Daniel navigates raising his teenage granddaughter and Allison seeks redemption, they discover that friendship, forgiveness, and hope can flourish in unlikely places.

Braff said that he wrote the part of Allison while thinking of Pugh, his then-girlfriend during the COVID pandemic. He chose to write about grief, using the project channel his feelings after losing three big people in his life: his sister, father, and close friend Nick Cordero.

With Pugh as a muse, he said, “I’m just in awe of her talent and I said, ‘I wanna write this for Florence. What I’m writing is really gonna be challenging and she’s incredible.’”

He had more glowing things to say about her: “She’s a next-level actress. I mean, she’s just unbelievable and what I was writing was gonna be really challenging .It wasn’t for your average actors—I couldn’t have written the part for myself. I wanted to write something for her and I had this image in my mind of that diner booth scene, and I thought of Florence Pugh opposite some legend that everyone’s talking about.”
