Blue Ivy Carter Got Jay-Z to be Her Instagram Photographer at the Super Bowl
Beyoncé didn’t bless the Super Bowl with her presence, but her 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter and Jay-Z gave it theirs. The two were photographed on the field before the game, and footage from the Fox broadcast spread on social media of Jay-Z doing for Blue what he has spent years doing for Beyoncé: Being a dutiful Instagram photographer.
He was filmed kneeling on the ground to take the right shot of Blue on the football field. Blue appears in the video, walking over to him and reviewing his work. Fans on Twitter noted she does not appear to be the most impressed by it. She seemingly asked him in the clip, “Was it live?”
Blue just celebrated her 11th birthday a month ago. While Jay-Z and Beyoncé haven’t shared too much about their children, Blue’s grandmother Tina Lawson gave a little insight into Blue’s personality on her granddaughter’s big day.
Lawson wrote on her Instagram, “The day that you were born was one of the best days of my life. I was really praying and pushing your mom to have you on January 4 which is my birthday. I really wanted you to share my birthday, but like your auntie Solo you decided to come when you were good and damn ready and that was on January 7 three days after my birthday. Knowing you and your personality now, I realize that you needed your own day because you were such a queen and you are so very special! You can sing dance, play basketball, play, volleyball, paint draw, sculpt, sew, write poetry, write songs , , create, act , play the piano ! I could go on and on. Because there’s really nothing that you can’t do .You are funny and beautiful and graceful , Kind , and so smart. I could not ask for a better granddaughter Ms. Blue Ivy Carter! I could not be more blessed , grateful , and completely in love with another human . You truly bring me joy!!❤️❤️❤️Grandma T.”
