I may not have liked Gov. Obaseki for quite some time now and do not in anyway regret that as I really do not know how to pretend.
However, I think he deserves accolade, especially from Edo Central people for standing for what is Right and Just in terms of the Senatorial District to produce the next Governor. Regardless of whether we love his choice of Aspirant or not, at least, we should "first" give him the accolade of standing with Esan.
So far, among the 3 main actors in the 3 major political parties, he's the only one that has specifically shown the direction he wants Governorship to come from this time. Others may join later, but that I do not know because the many games there, lack of decisiveness and fear of the unknown is becoming too much. For the now, Esan has one in the bag and we are very sure of that. The truth is, it is very difficult to have a seating Governor supporting such political agitation, therefore, Esan is quite lucky to at least have such big support. Maybe some other time, we will talk about his choice of Aspirant, but for now, let's give kudos to whom kudos is due.
