Rihanna Shares Adorable Clip of Her Son Smiling On TikTok

In her premiere TikTok video, musical icon Rihanna also premiered her son, posting her first personal images of her seven-month-old baby. She and boyfriend A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child in May of 2022, and have kept him pretty much out of the public eye, not even revealing his name.

In the adorable video shared on Saturday, the baby is strapped in his car seat and smiling and gurgling as Rihanna speaks to him off-camera. She asks him, “You tryna get Mommy’s phone?”

He smiles in response.

After the birth of their son, the rapper and Fenty Beauty founder spent a lot of time at home as a family. At the time, a source told People, “Rihanna is doing well. They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom.”

In recent months, the couple have been stepping out more and enjoying public events again. Rihanna contributed two songs to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever film, and attended the premiere with Rocky by her side. In October, she hosted the Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 show in Los Angeles, which went on to stream on Amazon Prime. While at the show, Rihanna told reporters a little bit about her son, saying, “He is funny, he’s happy — and he’s fat! He’s amazing. It’s a real cuddly stage right now.”

She is also preparing for her performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in early 2023, and potentially even a new album. Rocky told Dazed magazine that he is working on a new album as well, and said it relates to being a father and raising “open-minded children.”

“I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what,” he said. “I actually love to watch cartoons – I’ve watched like Teletubbies, Blue’s Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig and Baby Shark.”
