Chris Evans Reportedly Has Been Secretly Dating Alba Baptista for ‘Over a Year’
People‘s newest Sexiest Man Alive Chris Evans actually hasn’t been single for some time. The magazine revealed today that Evans has had a secret actress girlfriend for the last year: 25-year-old actress Alba Baptista.
Evans, 41, and Baptista have been dating “for over a year and it’s serious,” a source said. “They are in love, and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her.”
Evans and Baptista both follow each other on Instagram, although they haven’t shared any photos together. Cosmopolitan noted that fans had suspected the two were romantically involved weeks ago because Baptista’s mom used the same pumpkins Evans posted on his Instagram as a profile photo on her Instagram.

Evans has also liked all the Instagrams Baptista has posted since Oct. 13, dedicated boyfriend behavior, along with her post from July 15 and Aug. 24, 2021.
Evans spoke to People for its Sexiest Man issue about how he wants to settle down with the right person. “That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family,” Evans said. “When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”
“So it’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important,” he added. “I love the idea of tradition and ceremony. I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that—I can’t think of anything better.”
