Inside Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s Relationship—and Where She Stands on Dating After Baby No. 2

Details of Khloé Kardashian and her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s relationship have been kept mostly private by the family, but a source opened up to Entertainment Tonight after the state of affairs between the two now, weeks after welcoming their second child together via surrogate.

The former couple shares four-year-old daughter True and now a son, born via surrogate earlier this summer, whose name hasn’t been announced. Kardashian and Thompson broke up after another cheating scandal and him fathering a child with a personal trainer. That baby was born in December.

Kardashian is single currently after breaking up with an investment banker she was seeing privately earlier this summer.

With her and Thompson, “She is definitely still trying to gauge the dynamic of her relationship with Tristan, but that will come in time,” Entertainment Tonight’s source said. “Right now her focus is her baby.”

“Things between Khloé and Tristan are mostly positive and cordial,” the source added. “They are working through some hurdles but are hopeful and confident that they can continue to co-parent in a healthy way and give their little ones the best lives possible.”

Kardashian is interested in finding love again, the source said, but Thompson is not into the idea of her seeing someone else despite his own interest in seeing other people and their not currently being romantically involved.

“Khloé is open to dating and her breakup with the investment banker wasn’t messy or anything super serious to begin with, so it didn’t affect her too much,” the source said. “Tristan is jealous about Khloé dating and wants Khloé to himself, but he also wants to play the field and knows he can’t have the best of both worlds.”
