Selena Gomez Posts More Photos With Friends For Her 30th Birthday

Selena Gomez is still celebrating her 30th birthday, though it officially took place in July. She has a good reason: so many friends who want to wish her a happy new decade. On Friday, Gomez posted some photos from her time with one of her closest friend groups, her three girlfriends Raquelle Stevens, Courtney Lopez, and Ashley Cook.

In the images, Gomez is wearing a belted white dress with large buttons down the front, a collar, flounced sleeves, and slits up the side of the long skirt. She has her hair slicked back in a bun and is wearing large silver hoops. The other girls are all dressed in shades of white and tan and denim, creating a thematic color story. In the carousel of images, they’re embracing and blowing kisses to the camera.

Stevens shared a picture on her timeline of the foursome dressed for a night out, writing, “Decade of life together, so grateful! Happy 30th Selly we love you so much.”

In the photo, Gomez has on a short, shimmering white dressed with a feathered hem and high white wedge heels. The rest of the girls are in black.

In an interview on Stevens’ TaTaTu show Giving Back Generation Gomez commented on how important it has been to maintain her relationship with her friends through all of her fame

“I just needed people in my life that were going to look at me and unconditionally say, ‘Hey, you may not have made the right choice, but we love you, and we don’t think any less of you. We don’t think you’re a bad person. We just care, and this is kind of where you are,’” she explained.

She continued, “And that has been the biggest gift of my friendship from you, including Courtney [Lopez], who’s one of our best friends. I think it’s a huge part of who I am. I’m just incredibly lucky. And I know, and I want to say this too because this is important, a lot of people don’t get the chance to have friends like we do and I am considered one of the luckiest people in the world because I have three instead of just one. And I get to live life with those people.”
