Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Their Kids Were Seen Leaving on a Private Helicopter for Summer Holiday

How do Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—travel? Express reports that in July 2022, at least, the family took a private helicopter from their Kensington Palace home for their summer holiday—or, as the outlet theorized, to travel to their second home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, now that the kids are done with school. Express noted that footage surfaced on TikTok of Kate and William walking to the helicopter. An eyewitness, who was walking on a public footpath near the takeoff point, captured the video.

Kate, per the outlet, was wearing “a white sundress and a straw sun hat,” the same hat that fans noted she wore at Wimbledon last week. She walked alongside George, who was carrying luggage. Charlotte walked with Louis and seemed to guide her 4-year-old brother to the helicopter. William led the pack, carrying luggage.

Kate and William’s last big public vacation was in April. The couple took their kids to a luxury ski resort in Courchevel, France. A source told Us Weekly the family stayed in a friend’s “$5 million, six-bedroom chalet.” George and Charlotte had private ski lessons there and practiced their French. “Charlotte was racing down the mountain by the end of the holiday. She’s fearless!” the source said. “George was slightly more cautious, but they’re both great skiers and competed in fun brother/sister ski races. They had an absolute blast.”

Kate and William also had some alone time: “William and Kate managed to squeeze in a romantic candlelit date night before they left,” the source said. “It was just what they needed to ignite the spark after such a hectic couple of years.”
