THE RUNDOWN

  • Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau went to the opening night of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles.
  • Perry wore a Christian Siriano gown.
  • Trudeau and the singer were affectionate while posing together at the event.

On Saturday, September 19, Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau attended the opening night of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles alongside a slew of other celebrity guests including Kim Kardashian, Lewis Hamilton, Michael B. Jordan, and Tracee Ellis Ross. The singer and former prime minister posed and smiled at each other, sharing a bit of rare PDA as they celebrated.

Perry dressed for the occasion in a white velvet Christian Siriano gown from the designer’s spring 2027 collection. The strapless dress featured a sculptural neckline. She finished the look with silver open-toed sandals and a delicate diamond bracelet. Trudeau coordinated in a classic black suit and slightly open white shirt.

The outing comes a little over a year after Perry and Trudeau first sparked dating rumors following a dinner together in Montreal in July 2025. After months of keeping their relationship relatively private, the pair made their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Festival in June, attending the premiere of Perry’s concert film, The Lifetimes Tour, together.

Since then, they’ve been spotted together everywhere from a picnic in Santa Barbara, California to the South of France and Greece. In August, Trudeau also shared a photo of Perry in a carousel reflecting on his summer.

Perry has been increasingly open about just how much the relationship means to her, too. In a recent interview with People, she called Trudeau “the love of my life.”

Now, the couple is continuing to make their relationship a little more public, one glamorous night out at a time.
