Is Beef ending with season 2?
Netflix has not confirmed if Beef is ending with this latest season, but at the season 2 premiere in April 2026, show creator Lee Sung Jin said in an interview with Hollywood Elite that he was “perfectly happy with this being the last season.” He added, “But if the universe shoves something else in my face that I have to respond to, I’m always trying to remain open.”
Could Beef be renewed for season 3?
Maybe. While discussing the ending of season 1 with Rolling Stone in April 2023, he explained that he had several ideas left for the anthology series that he wants to explore, and had a plan for extending the show to include at least three seasons.
“I wanted it to have a conclusive feel just in case, but there are a lot of ideas on my end to keep this story going,” he told the outlet. “I have one really big general idea that I can’t really say yet, but I have three seasons mapped out in my head currently.”
