According to Chinese tradition, 2025 is the year of the snake; and according to fashion month, it’s also the year of snakeskin. Note here that it’s peep toe, not open toe. Although we have nothing against an open toe, the real runway trend at shows like Fendi and Ferragamo was a bit more discreet. Show off just a small sliver of skin without revealing your full pedicure—or lack thereof.
Western Nods
Western inspiration has featured prominently throughout the last several seasons, but this fall, the vibe is a bit more subtle. Instead of classic cowboy boots, think silver toe caps on a pair of Louis Vuittons, a snip toe from Hermès, or muted stitching from Schiaparelli.
