Meryl Streep

The icon and legend herself returns as Loretta Durkin, Oliver’s love interest and now a breakout TV star living in L.A. The Sophie’s Choice, Mamma Mia!, and The Devil Wears Prada star first joined in season 3 as a meek actress cast in Oliver’s musical and protective mother of Dickie, Ben Glenroy’s adopted brother.

The Hangover star is also playing himself, cast as Oliver (Martin Short) in the film adaptation. He’s reluctant to keep the part after Oliver doesn’t recognize him.

The comedy legend, who has appeared in the likes of Superstar, Saturday Night Live, and Wet Hot American Summer (and let’s not forget her recent turn on The Other Two) is also in this season. She plays Bev Mellon, the Paramount studio exec who meets with Charles, Mabel, and Oliver about turning their podcast into a movie.

You might recognize Cohen from her comedy special, The Twist…? She’s Gorgeous, or as the co-host of the Seek Treatment with Cat & Pat podcast. Meanwhile, Werber has starred in the Netflix series Brand New Cherry Flavor and The Sympathizer earlier this year. Together, the actors portray twin sisters and directors called The Brothers (that’s their last name), who will helm the Only Murders film.
