  • Kylie Jenner spoke briefly about Timothée Chalamet’s awards season shout-outs and her hopes to expand her family in a new Vanity Fair interview.
  • The star also discussed her acting debut and intention to keep building that part of her career.
  • Her sister Kendall Jenner was interviewed as well and hinted at Chalamet’s impact on Kylie’s life.

Kylie Jenner isn’t the type to talk much about her personal life, but in her new Vanity Fair interview, the beauty entrepreneur discussed her acting ambitions and possibly having more children. She revealed her hope to grow her family soon and lightly touched on her three-year relationship with Timothée Chalamet.

Writer Nate Freeman brought up Chalamet’s acceptance speech shout-outs to Kylie at the Critics Choice Awards and Golden Globes, asking if it was fun to receive those tributes. (Chalamet, in his Critics Choice speech, notably told the crowd, “And lastly, I’ll just say thank you to my partner of three years. Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”)

Freeman noted that it was “the only time in our interview that Kylie gets flustered,” describing her as “heart-fluttery” and “shy” over how to answer.

“Of course,” she ultimately replied, blushing.

Freeman confirmed that Chalamet and Jenner were a bona fide, real couple, noting that Kylie revealed they throw poker nights together at her house. “I grew up here, but I don’t really have, like, a nightlife—I play a lot of poker,” she said. (She was also photographed with Chalamet at a Cartier poker night in February 2025, with GQ describing her as “one of the most formidable players at the table.”)

Kylie’s sister Kendall Jenner also hinted at Chalamet’s place in Kylie’s life, telling the journalist that the beauty entrepreneur is “very happy and grounded at the moment, for some unspoken reason,” Freeman wrote.

Kendall discussed how they both approach privacy, saying after growing up in the public eye, “We learned how we wanted to take control of our private lives as much as we could.” She added of her sister generally, “I’ve seen so much beautiful growth in her, and she’s really come into herself in such an awesome way…. She had kids really young, so she had to grow up quick, but it feels like the most adult I’ve ever seen her, and I feel like she’s just really in her grown-up bag.”

Kylie was more forthcoming in the interview about her acting ambitions following her debut in The Moment.

She recalled how she got the role in the Charli XCX film, saying, “I kind of presented the idea, actually, to Aidan [Zamiri, the film’s director and a friend of hers] as a joke. I was like, ‘Well, if you want me to be in it, I would love to.’ I felt like it was a comfortable avenue for me because I knew him, I know Charli, and I felt like for my first thing, this would be the perfect fit. They came back, and Charli was really excited, and they legitimately wrote me into the script, and I was like, Oh shit. Now I have to do it.”

Since the film came out, “I’ve actually gotten a few scripts, nothing that I feel is right yet, but I 100 percent want to do more,” she added. “I really like comedy. I think I’m good at it. Maybe next time I talk to you, I’ll be the lead of an action movie!”

When asked more broadly about her acting ambitions after working with Zamiri, she said, “I’m a fan of so many amazing directors, but I don’t know, maybe I need to dream bigger or something.” She then added, as she prepares to turn 29 on August 10, that she dreams of expanding her family too. “In the last years of my 20s, I want to focus on just me, my businesses, my work, traveling with my kids, enjoying my kids, and then…I do want to have more kids…”
