Selena Gomez Shares an Unexpected First Look at Her Cabo Trip

Selena Gomez is taking a break from winter, with photos surfacing of her and Nina Dobrev enjoying a girls’ trip with friends yesterday in Los Cabos, Mexico.

This afternoon, the actress gave her fans a first look at her trip—but not the type you’d expect. Rather than posting beach or yacht pics, Gomez shared an Instagram Story of herself napping on her hotel bed with an iPad by her side. She had on a strapless brown bandeau and peach-and-white striped pants.

The Instagram Story comes hours after paparazzi photos surfaced of Gomez wearing a chic pink one-piece on the beach with friends.

Gomez also spent time in the area for her bachelorette trip ahead of her September wedding to Benny Blanco. The star took a group of friends to Cabo San Lucas in August, posting a series of photos from their trip on Instagram later.

Gomez may be back in Los Angeles soon, though. The Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, are this Sunday. She has a nomination with her Only Murders in the Building co-stars for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

In January, Gomez and Blanco made their first awards season appearance as newlyweds at the Golden Globes. The actress leaned into Old Hollywood style, wearing a white feathered Chanel gown to the show.

Gomez has spoken glowingly about married life with Blanco, telling Zane Lowe in November that it “has been such a dream so far, and I know it will come with ebbs and flows, but it’s the most beautiful person I could do that with.”
