Two Shell oil workers kidnapped in Nigeria’s Delta region have been rescued -police

LAGOS, April 30 (Reuters) – Two Royal Dutch Shell oil workers who were kidnapped in Nigeria’s southern Niger Delta region last week have been rescued, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

“The tactical team of the command rescued the victims in the early hours of Tuesday,” said Nnamdi Omoni a spokesman for the police force in Rivers state where the pair were attacked last week while returning from an official trip to Bayelsa state.
