JERA’s new president says IPO is a future option
TOKYO, Feb 4 (Reuters) –
* Japan’s JERA said Satoshi Onoda, executive vice president of Chubu Electric Power will become its new president on April 1, replacing Yuji Kakimi
* Onoda said an initial public offering (IPO) is an option for the future as the company aims to become an autonomous and global energy company
* JERA, the world’s top LNG buyer, is a joint venture between Tokyo Electric Power and Chubu Electric Power (Reporting by Yuka Obayashi; Editing by Tom Hogue)
