Ashley Yusuf foundation is at the mercy of the poor masses living in a far neighborhood in Sokale L.G.A, Abuja.
The NGO, led by the founder Ashley Mariam Yusuf visited the district with other medical professionals to help spread and administer drugs to children and parents living with infectious diseases.
The foundation which started few years ago have been at the fore front of helping the less privileged mostly around Abuja axis as they offer annual empowerment and development programs in a bid to help shorten the high rate of unemployment and improve productivity amidst the masses.
Stimulated by her love for humanity and the desire for the less fortunate ones in the society; to enjoy the good things of life like other privileged persons, Ashley noted that the medical outreach will help reduce seasonal illness and improve healthy living in the environment. She also call on federal government and able personnel in the society to key into this program for a better Nigeria.
“Average occupants here are not living the dream life they hoped for, from battling with life hurdles to dealing with disease caused by the fierce environment, anyone who juggle through this area will understand better what these people passes through everyday.
Through this medical outreach, we hope to make a difference and help them enjoy a healthy life. Everyone with a heart of gold even the government and those in higher rank needs to cultivate the spirit of giving as this is the only way we can help people around us”.
The foundation provided Drugs, exercise books and other reading materials to the children present at the venue. The medical doctors and pharmacist present also advised the parents on proper hygiene and how to curb and prevent inherent diseases up to minimal or zero level.
